Remove existing ELS1 URL from Microsoft Edge - IE Compatibility Settings

ELS1 is now accessible via Microsoft Edge. It is recommended to use the latest browser versions of Microsoft Edge (v123 – latest stable version) or higher. To ensure ELS1 works correctly on Microsoft Edge, please deactivate Internet Explorer (IE) compatibility settings using the following steps.
If you had previously configured your default browser to enable IE Mode, please follow the steps below to remove the ELS1 URL and disable this compatibility setting.
  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on “...“ on the top right of your browser.

  2. Click on “Settings“ in the menu.

  3. Select “Default browser“ from the left-hand menu.

  4. Click on the delete “ ” button on both the following STARS eLodgment URLs (where applicable).
    • https://app.sla.gov.sg/starsELS/jsp/common/index.jsp
    • https://app.sla.gov.sg/starsELS/Common_Login.run

  5. Both URLs should be removed from your list of Internet Explorer mode pages.

  6. Under “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode)”, choose “Default” or “Don’t Allow” (preferred choice if you do not have other sites relying on IE mode).

  7. Close the “Settings” tab.

  8. Open the STARS eLodgment website.

    The STARS eLodgment website should now be able to load in Edge without any issue. Please proceed to login via Singpass.
