Mode of Payment
1. All fees must be paid through Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG). However, pending activation of the Giro account, cheque payment or payment at SLA's counter is allowed within 1 month from the creation of the lodger account.
Mode of Payment - IBG
1. This function enables lodgers, with giro accounts to use IBG to pay for the services in the system. To set up the giro account, please submit the Application for IBG form either by post or by hand. It will take about 2 to 3 weeks for the bank to approve your application.
2. The "IBG" mode of payment is to be selected either during lodgment submission (Create Lodgment Form or Amend Lodgment Form), Resubmission of AF/PF forms or paying for Other services. Please refer to Create Lodgment Form or Amend Lodgment Form for more information.
3. Upon submission of Lodgment, a Lodgment Receipt will be generated.
For batch submission, click on the 'View Receipt' to see the Lodgment Receipt.

4. Upon resubmission of AF/PF forms a page with different payment modes
is displayed.

5. The amount payable will be deducted from the bank account, which is registered with the lodger account for the IBG arrangement, approximately within two working days from the date of the lodgement.

Mode of Payment - Cheque & Payment at SLA's Counter

1. This function enables lodgers, whose IBG payment arrangement with SLA is being finalised, to pay by cheque or other payment modes available at SLA's counter for the services in the system. These payment modes are only allowed within 1 month from the creation of the lodger account, pending activation of the Giro account.
2. The "cheque" mode of payment is to be selected either during lodgment submission (Create Lodgment Form or Amend Lodgment Form), Resubmission of AF/PF forms or paying for Other services. Please refer to Create Lodgment Form or Amend Lodgment Form for more information.
3. Upon submission of  a single Lodgment, a Lodgment Receipt will be generated.

5. Payment Advice will be sent at 7 pm daily for lodgment sets with "cheque" payment mode. Please forward the payment advice together with your payment by the next working day. All cheque must be crossed and made payable to "Singapore Land Authority". Cheque may be mailed or hand delivered to SLA's counter at 55 Newton Road, #12-01 Revenue House, Singapore 307987. Other payment modes available at SLA's counter include Nets, Cashcard, Credit Card, Debit Card and EZLink card. The operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Fee Accounting and Management
1. Currently there are two functions available to assist Law Firm Finance Officer in fee accounting and management for lodgment:
  • Fee Refund - View Refund Case . 
    To view the status of Fee Refund request.

  • Fee Collection - View Outstanding Bill
    To view the outstanding bill that require payment settlement.

Fee Accounting and Mgt - Refund - View Refund Case
1. This function can only be accessed by Law Firm Finance Officer. Using this function the Law Firm Finance Officer can view the status of Fee Refund process.
2. Navigate to Fee Accounting and Mgt [M] module from main menu
3. Click on Refund -> View Refund Case [M] from the left menu.

Fill in at least one of the following:
1)Receipt Number
2)Begin Date (Transaction Date) & End Date (Transaction Date)
3)Begin Date (Refund Request Date) & End Date (Refund Request Date)
Click Search[B] to submit request.

A list of refund cases satisfying the search criteria will be displayed.

6. Error messages Law Firm Finance Officer may encounter for View Refund Case are
 
NOTE
If no input is entered for Search and click Search[B], the following error message is shown, asking to enter at least one search key.

If input for Receipt Number is less than 8 characters and click Search[B] , the following error message is shown .

If input for Receipt Number is not in 'YYYYMMDD9999Z' format and click Search[B] , the following error message is shown .

If input for Transaction Date or Refund Request Date is not in 'DD/MM/YYYY' format and click Search[B] , the following error message is shown .

If input for Transaction Date is only entered and Transaction Date (To) is left blank and click Search[B], the following error message is shown.

If input for Transaction Date is future date, the following error message is shown.

If input for Transaction Date [To] is future date, the following error message is shown.

If input for Transaction Date (To) is only entered and Transaction Date is left blank and click Search[B], the following error message is shown.

If input for Refund Request Date is future date, the following error message is shown.

If input for Refund Request Date [To] is future date, the following error message is shown.

If input for Refund Request Date is only entered and Refund Request Date (To) is left blank, the following error message is shown.

Fee Accounting and Mgt - Fee Collection - View Outstanding Bill
1. This function can only be accessed by Law Firm Finance Officer.Using this function the Law Firm Finance Officer can view the Outstanding Bill details raised by SLA .
2. Navigate to Fee Accounting and Mgt [M] module from main menu
3. Click on Fee Collection -> View Outstanding Bill [M] from the left menu.

Fill in at least one of the following:
1)Bill Number
2)Previous Receipt Number
3)Date of Bill Creation  (dd/mm/yyyy) To (dd/mm/yyyy)
Click Search[B] to submit request.

A list of outstanding bills satisfying the search criteria will be displayed.
Select one record and click View[B]

6.

This screen displays the details of the selected Outstanding Bill along with the new receipt format if receipt date is after cut off date.
