Cessation of Support for TLS 1.0 / 1.1 and weaker cipher suites
Effective 30 Mar 2017, SLA will enforce TLS1.2 and strong ciphers. In order to continue using ELS, please ensure the below is performed.
- 'Use TLS 1.2' option under Internet Options - Advanced tab of your Internet Explorer is checked.
- Ensure your IE 11 and Windows are updated with the latest update.
How to Update
For Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 or Windows 7
Install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer via the Security Center for Home Users, or download the updates from Microsoft Update.
For Internet Explorer 11 and Microsoft Edge in Windows 10
Install one of the following updates, depending on your Windows 10 version:
- KB3176492 Cumulative update for Windows 10: August 9, 2016
- KB3176493 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1511: August 9, 2016
To verify that you have the latest cipher suite, please visit SSL Lab website and ensure you have the below under 'Cipher Suites'.
