There are several features that have been intelligently built into the system to minimise typing errors and to reduce data entry effort. They are:

1. Acronyms
2. Data Validation
3. Date Completion
4. Dynamic Form Filling

Acronyms

Data entry of party particulars is made easy through the use of acronyms.

To use this feature, simply enter the acronym into the field and click on Display [B].

The system will retrieve all particulars available for that acronym. For the full list of acronyms available in the system, refer to Acronyms under Glossary.

The system will check if all required information for the section are entered. In addition, it will verify whether the data format entered is correct. For example,

Validation of ID/Co Regn No.

The system will verify that the ID/CO Regn No. entered is correct based on the ID Type you selected.

Validation of Instrument No.

The system will validate the instrument number or caveat number.

Validation of Lot No.

The system will validate if the format of the Lot Number is valid for the selected TS (Town Subdivision) or MK (Mukim).

Validation of Postal Code

The system will validate if the postal code entered is 6 digits.

Validation of Title No. (Vol No., Fol No.)

The system will validate if the Vol No. is numeric and Fol number is within 1 to 200.

Date Completion

When you type in the date manually, you should type using the DDMMYYYY format. The system will automatically fill in the slashes ("/") for you. To minimise date errors, you should click on the calendar icon to select the date you want.

Form completion has never been easier with the automatic form-filling feature where related information is brought over from the previous sections. Information from the same sections is also validated when you fill in the details. Some examples are:

Description of Land and Plot/Unit and Child Lot Details Information from Description of Land section is brought over to the Plot/Unit and Child Lot Details section to facilitate the entry of data dependencies between the sections.

Party Details with Execution and Certificate of Correctness You are only required to provide minimal information. The system also allows you to type your own clauses by providing the Others [R] option.
