ELS Technology Update
Dear ELS Subscribers,
The STARS eLodgment System (ELS) will implement a technology update on 10 Jan 2025.
This update will improve user experience, eliminate dependency on the deprecated Internet Explorer (IE) browser, and streamline the eLodgment process to enhance operational efficiency for users.
Key Enhancements:
Modern Browser Support:
- ELS will support Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. The use of IE browser will cease. You no longer need to update your IE Mode settings every 30 days.
- For organisations using Microsoft Edge, if your IE Mode settings are configured via Internal Group Policy, please approach your respective IT department administrator to deactivate IE Mode and remove the existing ELS URLs.

Single Sign-on (SSO):
- Access both ELS and ELS2 with one login. Login via Singpass just once and interchangeably use either ELS or ELS2 for your daily operations.

More Digital Forms:
- 43 digital forms can be signed using Singpass in addition to the existing Netrust Token signing.

*Encryption for non-digital forms is still executed via Netrust Token only.
